Karibu Park is nestled in the picturesque Slocan Valley, in the Selkirk Mountains of the West Kootenays, between the Rocky Mountains and the Okanagan, about half way between Calgary and Vancouver. We are on the pristine Slocan River and the Slocan Valley Rail Trail,in the hamlet of Winlaw, centrally located to Valhalla & Kokanee Provincial Parks, and the towns of Nelson, Castlegar and New Denver. You can easily walk into Winlaw for supplies if you wish to.  It's less than a half km away.

We have:

• Fully equipped housekeeping cottages, with modern facilities and amenities, at reasonable prices;
• A campground with big, private sites, hot showers, lots of trees;
• A recreation area, playground, gathering place, spa facilities, and a small beach on the river

Your hosts, Christine and Brian O'Neill, invite you to come and relax in comfort at an affordable price, and experience the beauty of nature. We are very close to restaurants, shops, art galleries, a nature park, and golfing. You can canoe, kayak, tube and boat on the Slocan River and Slocan Lake, nearby. There are also hot springs, great hiking trails, historical sites, a ghost town, and rock climbing within an easy drive.
